After breakfast, visit the famous Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Afterwards, you will travel to Rabat, one of the imperial cities. During a guided tour, you will see the Royal Palace (exterior view), the government district, the Hassan Tower, the city's landmark, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. and the tomb of the Merinid Sultans. Approaching the Middle Atlas, You will reach Fez, the oldest of the four imperial cities. Often referred to as the cultural capital, this city is gently nestled in the green foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight stay in a riad. (Travel time approx. 5 hours, 300 km).
You will begin today with a visit to Meknes, known for its 40-kilometer-long city walls and the elaborately decorated city gate Bab Mansour. Of particular interest are the former stables, the storage granary, and the water basin. Afterwards, continue northeast to the Roman ruins. Volubilis, also known as "Walili," boasts very well-preserved monuments from the time of ancient Rome. Not far from the ruined city lies the most famous pilgrimage site and arguably the oldest city in Morocco – Moulay Idriss. Overnight stay as on the previous day. After a leisurely breakfast, you will travel to the Southern Castle, from where you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the "old" and "new" city. On the journey back to In the UNESCO World Heritage-listed old town, it's worth stopping at the magnificent entrance gates to the royal palace in the Jewish Quarter. Equally beautifully decorated is the blue city gate "Bab Bau Jeloud," which leads you into Morocco's best- preserved old town. In addition to the traditional tannery district, you'll visit the former Koranic school Bou Inania and the Kairaouine Mosque. Overnight stay as on the previous day.
You leave the royal city of Fez and drive south through the cedar forests of the scenic Middle Atlas, inhabited by Barbary macaques. From the Azilal province, you will reach Bin El Ouidane (between two lakes), located between the main chain of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. The area's main attraction is the enormous Bin El Ouidane reservoir, which gently blends into the landscape between forests and mountains. Overnight at the hotel. (Travel time approximately 6 hours
After a relaxing night and a hearty breakfast, you'll continue your journey via Azilal. Lunch will be served in Ouzoud. Afterwards, you'll visit Morocco's highest and most beautiful waterfalls (approximately 100 meters) in a beautiful forest setting. Continue through beautiful landscapes to the most visited city in Morocco: Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad. (Travel time approx. 3-4 hours, 200 km).
After a leisurely brakfast, you will visit the Medina (old town) with your guide and iths many sights; the Koutubia Mosque, the enormous Djemaa el Fna square, the colorful souks with their oriental scents, the Saadian Tombs with the Bab Agnau, Marrakech's most beautiful gate, and the Bahia Palace, a former place of a Grand Vizier with wonderful oriental do ecorations, The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. You can relax in a traditional hammam steam bath or explore further on your own. Overnight stay as the previous day.
