During our one-day tour in Merzouga, we will begin our desert adventure in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle. Our first stop is the iconic Erg Chebbi dunes, located about 10 miles from Merzouga village. Here, you can soak in the vastness and serenity of the desert, with its towering golden sand dunes stretching as far as the eye can see.

Next, we will visit the traditional village of Khamlia, where you will be greeted with refreshing mint tea and live Gnawa music performed by local musicians originally from sub-Saharan Africa.

Continuing deeper into the desert, we will visit a nomadic Berber family. This is a unique opportunity to learn about their lifestyle, traditions, and the challenges of living in the Sahara. Along the way, we will make several stops to take photos and admire the natural beauty of the dunes, as well as nearby fossil sites.

Afterwards, we will embark on a camel ride guided by a local camel herder, venturing across the undulating sand dunes. For those seeking adventure, there will also be a chance to try sandboarding on the soft desert sand.

The highlight of the day will be witnessing a breathtaking sunset from the top of a high sand dune. Take photos, savor the moment, and enjoy the magical colors of the desert as the sun dips below the horizon.
