Join us for the perfect day trip from Marrakech! If you’re seeking a break from the bustling city, a one-day excursion to the Ouzoud Waterfalls offers an ideal escape. Located about three hours northeast of Marrakech in the Middle Atlas Mountains, these stunning waterfalls are among Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders. In fact, they are also considered one of the highest waterfalls in North Africa.

Why Visit Ouzoud?

The name “Ouzoud” comes from the Berber word for “olive,” and as you approach the waterfalls, you’ll notice the area is dotted with ancient olive groves, lush greenery, and stunning natural scenery. The waterfalls themselves are truly magical, featuring multiple cascading drops. On sunny days, the mist rising from the falls often forms beautiful rainbows, adding an extra touch of wonder to the landscape.

This destination offers a chance to immerse yourself in Morocco’s rich natural environment, meet friendly local villagers, and capture photos of the playful Barbary monkeys that inhabit the surrounding trees.
