Travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing Berber villages and breathtaking landscapes. Discover the legendary Ait Ben Haddou before continuing through the lush palm groves of the Draa Valley toward the gateway of the Sahara.

Your adventure takes you deep into the remote dunes of Erg Chigaga, the largest and most untouched desert dunes in Morocco. Enjoy an unforgettable night in a luxury desert camp with Berber music under a sky full of stars. The journey continues with an exciting off-road crossing of the vast Lake Iriki before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” before returning to Marrakech.

Day 1: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Zagora

Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Zagora

Departure in the morning from Marrakech. Travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering breathtaking views and traditional Berber villages. Stop to visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its traditional mud-brick architecture and film locations.

Continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Draa Valley, known for its endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs.

Arrival in Zagora in the late afternoon.

Day 2: Zagora → Tamgroute → M’Hamid → Erg Chigaga Desert

Zagora → Tamgroute → M’Hamid → Erg Chigaga Desert

After breakfast, travel south to the village of Tamegroute, famous for its traditional green pottery and historic Quranic library. Continue to M’Hamid, the last village before the great Sahara.

From here, the adventure begins as you travel by 4×4 vehicle across the desert to reach the impressive dunes of Erg Chigaga, the largest and most remote dunes in Morocco. Enjoy the silence of the desert, a magical sunset, and a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga → Lake Iriki → Foum Zguid → Ouarzazate

Wake up early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, begin an exciting off-road journey across the desert, passing through the vast dry lake of Lake Iriki.

Continue to the desert town of Foum Zguid before returning to the paved road. Drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”.

Day 4: Ouarzazate → Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

After breakfast, you may visit the famous Atlas Film Studios or the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

Return to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
