After a warm welcome, you will be transferred comfortably to your traditional Riad or hotel located in the historic Medina of Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy your first discovery of the city with a walk through the famous Jemaa El Fna Square, the vibrant heart of Marrakech filled with street performers, musicians, and food stalls.

Guided Discovery of Marrakech

After breakfast, meet your professional local guide for a fascinating cultural and historical tour of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most famous imperial cities.

Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs from the 16th century, and the famous Koutoubia Mosque (outside visit). Later, you may visit the peaceful Majorelle Garden, once owned by designer Yves Saint Laurent. In the afternoon, free time to explore the colorful souks of the Medina.

Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

Begin your journey towards southern Morocco, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 meters).

Your first major stop will be the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most impressive fortified villages. This historic ksar has served as a filming location for Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. Continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Valley of Roses. Arrival in the spectacular Dades Valley.

Discovering the Beautiful Dades Valley

Today you will enjoy a relaxing day exploring the incredible landscapes of the Dades Valley, one of the most scenic regions in southern Morocco.

Visit the famous Dades Gorges, where winding mountain roads pass through deep canyons and unique rock formations known as the ‘Monkey Fingers.’ Discover traditional Berber villages where local families continue to live according to ancestral traditions. Visit Kalaat M’Gouna, the capital of the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival.

Dades Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Sahara

Continue your journey deeper into the desert landscapes of Morocco, with the spectacular Todra Gorge as your first stop.

The canyon walls of Todra Gorge rise dramatically up to 300 meters high, creating a breathtaking setting for a short walk. Continue through desert landscapes until reaching Merzouga, at the edge of the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. In the late afternoon, experience the highlight of your journey: a camel trek across the golden dunes, witnessing a magical sunset before arriving at your luxury desert camp.

Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes

Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes, when the desert changes colors with the first light of the day.
